Witnesses Wanted In Hit And Run Accident

Published:

The Washington State Patrol is looking for help finding a truck involved in a hit and run accident that left a motorist injured around 1:15 p.m. on Monday (April 6) on I-90 in North Bend.

Hit and Run Incident Leaves One Injured

A white or silver semi truck with possible green markings on the side of the trailer is said to have hit a black Toyota Prius, sending the car through a barrier and into the median. A passenger in the Prius suffered a severe head injury and was transferred to the hospital. The driver and one other passenger suffered no significant injury.

Police Ask For Information

An eyewitness told authorities that the left front side of the truck suffered significant damage during the accident. The witness said that there may have been damage to the trailer. Authorities also have reason to believe that the lug nuts on the left side of the truck were damaged.

The police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has information to contact Detective Vik Mauro at [email protected] or 425-401-7746.
