Woman Charged In Murder Of Truck Driver

Published:

A woman who was held on suspicion of murder after police found her truck driver boyfriend’s body in a box in rural Kentucky has officially been charged.

Rose M. Kuehni has been booked on charges of second-degree intentional homicide and with hiding a corpse.

Bailey was reported missing on December 30. Police interviewed Kuehni and became suspicious of her story, which indicated that she obeyed Bailey’s request to be dropped off on the side of the road in Edwards after they two had an argument. Peoria police spent four days searching the area where it was believed that Bailey’s cell phone had been used last, but could not find him.

After Bailey’s body was discovered in a box in Bell County, Kentucky, detectives from Peoria drove to Wisconsin and interviewed Kuehni, who allegedly confessed to playing a part in the killing of Bailey.
