At least 28 people were hospitalized following a crash involving a Jeep, a SEPTA bus, and a semi truck in Yeadon, Pennsylvania, yesterday.
Jeep Pulling Out Of Driveway Results In Chain Reaction Crash
According to reports, the bus was traveling south down Lansdowne Avenue around 6:30 p.m. when a Jeep pulled out of a driveway. The Jeep crashed into the bus, which in turn forced the bus driver to veer left onto a curb to avoid a head-on crash with a semi that was stopped in the intersection. The bus then reportedly crashed into a retaining wall.
Dozens Injured In Crash
28 people were transported to the hospital for injuries — 26 of those people were bus passengers who mainly suffered minor injuries. Two pedestrians walking on the sidewalk during the crash were seriously injured. The truck driver was not seriously hurt in the crash
Police are still investigating the case of the crash.
