PennDOT says that a 59 vehicle pileup has forced the closure of some portions of eastbound I-80 in the western part of the state.
According to reports, the pileup began around 8 a.m. in Falls Creek.
Thirty-seven passenger vehicles and 22 semi trucks were involved in the pileup, which happened during winter weather conditions.
So far, only three minor injuries have been reported.
I-80 eastbound has been closed down from Exit 90 near the DuBois Regional Airport to Exit 97.
