An Amtrak passenger train collided with a semi hauling 65,000 pounds of paper pulp this morning in Aurora, Oregon.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Ehlen Road and 1st Street when heavy traffic forced the truck to stop on the train tracks. The northbound train hit the trailer of the truck at about 35 m.p.h., spilling the paper pulp.
