Happy hour started early after a Busch beer truck collided with a Frito-Lay truck on I-95 near Melbourne, Florida this morning.
Beer Truck Tries To Avoid Chip Truck But Crashes Anyway
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. at mile marker 187. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the beer truck driver, Roberto Ferrer Rodriguez, was traveling southbound in the right lane when he came upon a Frito-Lay box truck on the shoulder of the interstate. Rodriguez says he tried to change lanes, but another vehicle was in the center lane, so he swerved back into the right lane, causing him to crash into the Frito-Lay truck.
Crash Spills Beer And Chips
The Frito-Lay truck overturned and beer and chips were scattered all over the interstate.
No injuries were reported.
Rodriguez was ticketed for failing to maintain his lane.
