Nashville police are on the scene after the body of a suspected homicide victim was discovered at Western Express Inc. this morning.
Police responded to calls about a shooting at Western Express at 6:22 a.m. after someone discovered a body near some parked trucks.

Nashville Police Work To Determine Identity And Cause Of Death
When police arrived on the scene, the person was already deceased. Though the call was initially reported as a shooting, police say that they are unsure how the person died at this time.
According to tweets from the Metro Nashville Police Department, the deceased was described as a “homicide victim … [who] is an African American man dressed as a woman.” Police said he carried no identification. The Metro Nashville Police Deparment also tweeted that the person was in his late twenties or early thirties. The victim reportedly had a tattoo on his left arm that said “Dreaming” and a tattoo on his chest that read “Joyce” with musical notes.
The Metro Nashville Police Department is asking anyone with information on the incident or the identity of the victim to call 615-862-7385.
