At least three truck drivers were targeted by a suspect throwing bricks at semis in South Carolina yesterday.
The brick throwing incidents took place early yesterday morning in Edgefield on Highway 25 at Academy Estates Road.
Three truck drivers reported to the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office that a person had thrown bricks at their trucks.
Luckily, none of the drivers reported serious injuries, but the bricks did thousands of dollars worth of damage to the trucks. One brick crashed through a truck’s windshield. In another incident, a brick did major damage to the driver’s side mirror and sleeper. On the third truck, the right side of the tractor and trailer were damaged by the brick.
Police located bricks near the area of the attack, but they are still looking for the suspects.
