A truck driver is in critical condition after he was run over and pinned by his own truck in Broomfield, Colorado, this morning.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 128 at Eldorado Boulevard.
According to the North Metro Fire Rescue District:
“What we know is that the driver of the semi got out of the semi — we’re not sure what the reason was, if they were checking on something — but the semi then rolled over the driver. Another semi was coming up on the scene and that driver jumped out and helped stop the semi from rolling farther. But the victim was trapped underneath the semi, so when crews got on scene they immediately got to work to extricate the victim.“
They just pulled out the driver from under the truck. He is still alive and being treated at the scene now. pic.twitter.com/CD1Rdr1OTq
