California police are investigating after two motorcyclists opened fire on a pickup truck driver on the 210 Freeway in Slymar early this morning, causing road closures that resulted in a dump truck crashing up an embankment.
The shooting happened in the westbound lanes near the Roxford exit just after 4 a.m. Police say that two suspects on separate motorcycles pulled up next to a white pickup truck and began firing at the driver. The pickup crashed as a result of the shooting.

The motorist was transported to the hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds to the arm. He is in stable condition.
Police are still searching for the shooters.
The 210 Freeway was shut down for about two hours while police investigated the incident. All lanes reopened at about 6:30 a.m.
While the freeway was closed, a dump truck driver trying to avoid the closures somehow crashed up an embankment and hung over a bridge, leaking diesel fuel.
Police are still investigating these incidents.
