Starting on Monday, law enforcement officers in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana will be on the lookout for violations by truck drivers along the I-94 corridor.
The annual “Eyes On 94” campaign will run from December 5 through December 9. State police in all three states will be on the lookout for violations that are likely to result in crashes, such as speeding, tailgating, distracted driving, and improper lane usage.
The “Eyes On 94” Campaign is part of the nationwide “Toward Zero Deaths” traffic safety initiative.
According to Michael Krumm of the Michigan State Patrol, “This coordinated operation is an effort to increase awareness by means of high visibility enforcement on the I-94 corridor, which is prone to weather-related crashes this time of year.”
