FMCSA Online Systems To Go Down Today For Cloud Transition

Published:

The FMCSA announced that many of its online information systems will not be available starting today as the agency transitions to a cloud-based system.

Access to the agency’s online systems is expected to be limited starting at 9 p.m. tonight through sometime on Monday.

The FMCSA assures readers that its “safety and enforcement programs and activities will be unaffected during this period.”

Because of the transition, drivers will likely not be able to look up CSA scores, some inspection information, or FMCSA regulations. Other services are expected to be impacted including Safety and Fitness Electronic Records, Motor Carrier Management Information System, and Unified Registration System.

Commercial motor vehicle enforcement officers will have downloaded the information they need prior to the shut down, so it will be slightly out of date over the weekend.
