Westbound I-94 in Port Huron, Michigan, has been closed after a man is believed to have committed suicide by truck this morning.
According to police, the incident happened in the westbound lanes of I-94 at the Michigan Road overpass just before 6 a.m. A man is said to have gone over the railing of the overpass, landing on I-94 directly in the path of a tractor trailer. Police say the man was killed instantly.
Investigators are working the scene but early indications show that the incident was suicide.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Westbound I-94 is closed at I-69. Police are diverting traffic onto westbound I-69. It is unclear when I-94 will reopen.
