Professional drivers who are in Idaho on Thanksgiving Day will be able to enjoy a turkey dinner on the house courtesy of the Boise Stage Stop.
The Boise Stage Stop says that the free holiday dinner is a yearly tradition and is their way of saying thanks to the professional drivers who make the American way of life possible: “Truck drivers are the backbone of commerce in the United States, and in order to keep the stores stocked many of them sacrifice things that we take for granted – a warm bed every night, watching their kids grow up, a regular daily routine, and holidays with their families.”
In addition to the free home-style Thanksgiving dinner, drivers will also be eligible to win prizes.
All you need to do to qualify for the free dinner is to show your CDL to your server.
The Boise Stage Stop is located on I-84 between Boise and Mountain Home, Idaho.
