A woman was cited for improper passing for a driving maneuver that somehow left her vehicle sandwiched between two dump trucks in Jersey City yesterday.
The incident happened in the northbound lanes of Route 440 at Communipaw Avenue during rush hour.
According to the police report, the two dump trucks were stopped side by side when a 50 year old motorist, also northbound, attempted to cross multiple lanes of traffic and lost control of her vehicle. She somehow crashed between the two dump trucks.
Remarkably, no one was seriously hurt, but the woman had to be extracted from the vehicle by firefighters.
The woman was cited for improper passing and for failure to exhibit documents.
