Forbes Magazine named J.B. Hunt’s cofounder Johnelle Hunt one of America’s Richest Self-Made Women.
Hunt came in at number five on the list at a valued net worth of $2.3 billion.
J.B. Hunt Built From Only 5 Trucks
Hunt founded one of the nation’s biggest trucking companies with her late husband J.B. Hunt in 1969. They started out with only five used trucks and seven trailers. They were able to grow the company from there into the $6.2 billion transportation titan that it is today. J.B. Hunt now employs almost 16,000 truck drivers.
The number one slot on the prestigious list went to ABC Supply cofounder Diane Hendricks. Oprah Winfrey came in at number two on the list.
