The historic TA truck stop in Hudson, Wisconsin, is celebrating it’s grand reopening this week.
Originally opened in July 1969 as “LaBon’s”, the truck stop has been a haven for truck drivers for decades. In its 47 years of operation, the truck stop has only been closed for a day or two during a nationwide truck driver strike in the 1970’s.
The Grand Reopening festivities kick off February 3 and will run through February 6. The reopening will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on February 3.
From February 3-5, truck drivers can enjoy a classic throwback menu at the Country Pride Restaurant — complete with 1970’s prices. That means you can get a full stack of pancakes for $2.50, a BLT sandwich for $2.89, or you can enjoy a La-Bon Burger for only $3.99.
On the last day of the reopening, the truck stop will be giving away $250 gift cards to customers all day long.
