Husband Runs Over Wife After She Leaps Out Of 18 Wheeler

Published:

A woman was injured when she jumped out of a truck driven by her husband during an argument early this morning.

Early Morning Argument Ends In Severe Injury

The incident took place in Middleton, Ohio, around 2 a.m. The truck driver, 39 year old Andrew Frost of Miamisburg, said that he and his wife Angela were traveling on Hook Drive when the couple started arguing. Andrew Frost claims that his wife threatened to jump out of the truck several times during their fight.

The truck was nearing Hanover Street at 40 m.p.h. when Angela Frost allegedly opened the door and threw herself out of the truck. Andrew Frost  said he tried to grab his wife but could not reach her in time. She fell into the road and the trailer ran over her legs. The truck nearly hit a pole during the incident.

By the time police arrived on the scene, Andrew Frost had stopped the truck and was found kneeling beside his wife in the street. Angela Frost was bleeding and could not feel her legs.

When she was interviewed by police, Angela Frost confirmed that she and her husband had argued. She also confirmed that she had opened the door and threatened to jump out of the truck. After that, “Angela stated that the next thing she knew she had fell and hit the ground and the trailer had struck the lower portion of her body,” police reported.

Truck Driver Charged With OVI

Police on the scene smelled alcohol on Andrew Frost’s breath. He told them that he had consumed a mixed drink and a beer about four hours before the incident but refused to take a sobriety test. He was arrested and charged with OVI.

Angela Frost was flown to a hospital in Dayton. As of this morning, her condition was listed as serious.
