Missouri Trucker Killed Unloading Large Pipe

A Missouri trucker lost his life today when he was struck by a large pipe that he was off-loading from his truck.

The accident happened before 9 a.m. at Gary Carlson Equipment in Blaine, Minnesota. According to reports, a trucker in his late twenties was off-loading large diameter pipe when one of the pieces fell on him.

Rescue crews rendered first aid and rushed the driver to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The incident is being investigated by Blaine Police Department, Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and OSHA.
