A motorist who failed to yield to a truck paid the price and was dragged 200 feet under the truck yesterday.

The crash happened at 3:30 p.m. in Burke County, North Carolina. Police say that 22-year-old motorist Forrest Rich pulled his car out in front of a semi and wound up being dragged nearly 200 feet under the truck’s trailer.

Rich was pinned inside the vehicle and firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to extract him.

Unbelievably, Rich had no serious injuries and was taken to the hospital only as a precaution.
Police charged Rich with failure to yield. The results of a drug test are pending.
