Ohio Officials: Plan For Two Weeks Of Overnight I-75 North Closures

Starting this week, the Ohio Department of Transportation will shut down northbound lanes of I-75 near Cincinnati overnight so that crews can perform bridge repairs.

The road closures will begin Tuesday night (January 5) at 11 p.m when all northbound lanes of I-75 near the Mitchell exit will shut down. They will reopen at 5 p.m.

The closures will continue Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

ODOT will also shut down northbound I-75 for three days next week — January 12-15.

Drivers are recommended to take westbound Interstate 74, eastbound I-275 and then back to I-75 to avoid the closure.

ODOT says if winter weather hits, the overnight road closures could last for longer than the planned two weeks.
