Mississippi police have released an image of a vehicle and asked for the public’s help locating it in the hopes of learning more about the death of a Georgia truck driver.
According to family members, Tommy Lee Wilson III, 36, went missing on May 25. Days later, police found his truck with a window broken out at the Newton Junction Truck Stop off of I-20. Wilson’s body was discovered some time later in a wooded area 150 to 200 yards from his truck. The cause of his death is still unknown.
After looking at surveillance video captured at the truck stop on May 25, Newton police have released an image of a vehicle that they believe may be the key to unlocking answers about Wilson’s death.
The vehicle appears to be a 1990’s model green Mercedes. Police think that the driver of the car may have information about Wilson’s death.
If you have any information about the vehicle, please contact Newton police at (601) 683 – 2041 or email them at [email protected]
