Police Reopen Roads But Continue Search For Shooters In Roseville

California police are still searching for two men suspected of firing shots in a Roseville neighborhood after an unsuccessful manhunt led to the temporary closure of I-80 and I-65.

Roseville Police Respond To Calls About Gunfire

Several residents called police to report gunshots in the Galleria area just before 5 a.m. today. When Roseville police arrived on scene, they also reported hearing gunshots and seeing muzzle flashes.

Later, a California Highway Patrol officer reported spotting two men with long rifles disappearing into a wooded area in Antelope Creek near I-80.

Interstates Close For Hours For Manhunt

Westbound I-80 and southbound I-65 were both closed while police conducted their search. Several shell casings were found, but the suspects have not yet been located.

Both interstates reopened shortly after 8 a.m.

The two suspects are described as males in their 20’s. One is wearing a white shirt and the other is wearing a turquoise blue shirt.
