According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the map below illustrates how much truck drivers average per state.
In 2014, the median annual wage for truck drivers was $39,520; however, it’s clear that drivers in some states earn significantly more.
The top-earning states are New York, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Washington, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
