A crash in New Jersey today had early morning commuters looking forward to lunch when a truck hauling deli meat collided with a truck carrying bread.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. on southbound I-287 in Piscataway, spilling sandwich fixings all over the interstate as the trailer of one of the trucks burst open.
No injuries were reported.
The crash caused heavy backups as all but one lane was shut down. Most of the cleanup was completed by 7:30 a.m.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
