Oregon police are searching for a driver who opened fire on an 18 wheeler yesterday, flattening the driver’s side rear tire.
The shooting happened yesterday at 2:13 a.m. on I-205 southbound near Division Street in Portland. According to the police, the truck driver was in the right-hand lane when a motorist in a newer model black SUV with tinted windows pulled up alongside the truck and fired several shots at the truck, flattening one of the driver’s side rear tires.
Police did find physical evidence the supports the truck driver’s story. Police do not believe that road rage was the motive for the shooting at this time.
Unfortunately, the truck driver did not get a good look at the shooter and could not give a better description of the vehicle.
