Somerville Circle in New Jersey is expected to be closed until the evening rush hour after a tanker truck hauling combustible materials overturned.
Truck Jackknifed on Somerville Circle
Police say that the truck jackknifed on Somerville Circle around 7:30 this morning, blocking access to the circle from Route 206 in every direction.
Businesses Evacuated Because Of Risk Of Hazardous Materials
Because of the risk of danger from the hazardous materials the truck was hauling, nearby businesses have been evacuated.
No injuries have been reported.
Route 202 over the circle is still open, but it could close for certain periods throughout the day.
Authorities are not sure why the truck overturned. No charges have been filed at this time.
