Texas police arrested a truck driver after they discovered 132 pounds of cocaine in his rig last week.
The epic drug bust began around 11:30 a.m. on February 11 when Orange County Sheriff’s Office Deputies pulled over a white Volvo on I-10 because the driver was observed swerving. During the traffic stop, the 30 year old truck driver, Mauro Cano Moreno, gave police permission to search his truck.
When they did, they found 60 bundles of white powder that tested positive for cocaine. The street value of the cocaine is estimated to be $4.8 million.
Moreno was charged with possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $200,000.
