Lost Georgia Trucker Robbed At Gunpoint In Jersey City

A Georgia-based trucker was robbed at gunpoint by three masked suspects while trying to get directions early this morning.

The robbery took place on the west side of Jersey City around 2:30 a.m.

According to reports, the 36 year old truck driver found himself inside a parking lot at a housing complex. Unsure of how to get out of the parking lot, he got out of his truck to look for the parking lot exit.

When he left the truck, the driver said that he was approached by three suspects in masks who pointed a gun at his back. He was ordered not to turn around while the suspects stole $250 from his wallet.

The suspects fled the scene after the robbery.

No injuries were reported.

No arrests have been made.
