North Dakota Shuts Down 200 Miles Of I-94, Truckers Asked To Stay In Fargo

Published:

North Dakota transportation officials have shut down more than 200 miles of I-94 due to winter weather.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has closed down both the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-94 between Dickinson and Valley City because of dangerous highway conditions.

They have also closed down I-29 in both directions from Fargo to the Canadian border due to whiteout blizzard conditions.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is asking all commercial vehicles to stay in Fargo until I-94 reopens because Valley City does not have sufficient parking.
