Oklahoma Trooper Tries To Pull Over Speeding Trucker

Troopers say that a commercial vehicle enforcement unit spotted a semi truck driven by 36-year-old Sarabjit Singh exceeding the speed limit in the westbound lanes of I-44 today. They said the truck was moving at almost 80 m.p.h.

A trooper with his lights and sirens on attempted to pull Singh over, but he reportedly refused to stop. The trooper says he pulled up alongside the truck and made eye contact with Singh, motioning for him to pull over.

Singh still reportedly refused to stop. The trooper noted that Singh had his head down and appeared to be writing in what he suspected was a log book.

The trooper then got in front of Singh’s truck to try to stop him. The trooper’s cruiser was rear ended by Singh.

Singh finally stopped west of Elwood and was arrested.

No one was hurt during the incident.

It is unclear what charges Singh will face.

The incident is still under investigation.
