Police On The Hunt For Man Who Shot Coworker At Toronto Trucking Company

Toronto police are asking for help locating a man who is suspected of shooting a coworker in the parking lot of a trucking company on September 30.

Police say that 31 year old truck driver Maninder Singh Sandhu was shot multiple times in the torso in the parking lot at BTI Cartage in Etobicoke around 4:30 p.m.

His family found his body in the parking lot around 3 a.m. on Saturday.

An arrest warrant has been issued for BTI Cartage employee Pradeep Chouhan, 34, of Brampton, for second degree murder.

Chouhan was last seen on Friday, September 30, at 4:45 p.m. driving a 2006 white Chrysler 300. Police believe he is still in the greater Toronto area.

Chouhan is 6’0″ and 180 pounds with straight black hair and a scar near his right eye. If you spot him, you are advised not to approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous. You can reach the Homicide Squat at 416-808-7400 ext. 7-7287.
