Man Armed With Knife Tried To Rob Trucker At Utah Truck Stop

Published:

Utah police continue to search for an armed man who attempted to rob a truck driver in Logan on Friday.

The robbery attempt took place around 10 p.m. at the L.W. Miller Truck Stop at 1000 West and 200 North.

The trucker told police that he was walking across the parking lot when he noticed a tall slender man in a hoodie standing near his truck. As the driver tried to get back into his truck, the suspect approached him asking for money. When the driver said that he didn’t have any money to give, the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened him.

When the suspect lunged forward with the knife, the trucker says that he punched the man in the face. The suspect fled the scene heading south.

Logan police brought a K-9 unit in to try to locate the suspect, but they could not locate him.

The suspect is approximately 6 feet tall and 125 pounds.
