FMCSA Adjusts Truck Driver Violation Fines For Inflation

For the first time since 2007, the FMCSA has adjusted the fines that truckers pay for various violations to account for inflation.

As you might expect, many of the fines have increased, but a few have stayed the same. You can take a look at the chart below to see exactly how specific fines have been adjusted.

The new penalties go into effect August 1.
