A truck driver lost his life near Bowling Green, Ohio, this morning when he lost control of his truck and crashed into a bridge on I-75.
The crash happened around 5:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-75 near the SR-582 overpass.
According to the Ohio State Patrol, the truck driver lost control for some reason and veered off the right side of the road. The truck then hit the guardrail and rode on top of the guardrail wall until it impacted the overpass pillar. The truck caught fire after the crash.
The truck driver was ejected and later died from his injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Northbound I-75 was closed for several hours while crews cleaned up the crash.
