Omaha police say that a truck driver was killed yesterday when he became pinned between a truck and a trailer at a meat packing plant.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. at Greater Omaha Packing. Police say that 29 year old truck driver Robert Williams II was hooking his truck up to a trailer when he became pinned in between the truck and a trailer.

When police arrived on the scene, they reported finding Williams lying next to the trailer. He was later pronounced dead.

Investigator believe that the truck driver’s death was an accident. They do not suspect any sort of foul play at this time.

A full investigation into the incident is being conducted.

Williams drove for Greater Omaha Express, a subsidiary of Greater Omaha Packing.

Greater Omaha Express issued a statement on the loss of their employee: “Everyone’s thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of our team member and everyone affected by this tragedy.
