Just in time for Halloween, Omnitracs has released a new web-based game in which humanity’s only hope during the zombie apocalypse is in the hands of a trucker.
The “Zombie Dispatch” game consists of several trucking missions you must complete to combat a undead outbreak. You’ll have to steer your rig around road debris, disabled vehicles, and, of course, the walking dead, in order to deliver the cure.
According to Jim Gardner of Omnitracs: “We created Zombie Dispatch as a way to have a little fun around Halloween, and to help make drivers and fleet operators aware of some of the many products and solutions available to them. From electronic logging devices and navigation apps, to route planning software and sophisticated analytics from Big Data, these solutions improve fleet efficiency and enhance driver satisfaction. While zombies aren’t real, the critical challenges facing the trucking industry are downright scary.
