This video was captured yesterday by two motorists along Valley Boulevard in San Gabriel, California.
Police say that the gravel dump truck driver was suffering from some sort of medical emergency when he lost control of his vehicle.
The dump truck reportedly hit eight vehicles in three separate collisions along Valley Boulevard before coming to a stop in the median after crashing into cars waiting at a stop light. Some of those collisions were captured on video.
By the time police arrived, they found the truck driver semi-conscious on a nearby bus bench.
Five people were injured and two people were transported to the hospital. None of the injuries are thought to be life threatening. The truck driver’s current condition is unknown.
The investigation into the incident continues.
