Trucker Robbed At Gunpoint At Waffle House

Published:

A truck driver from Georgia says that he was robbed by two armed men as he tried to leave a Waffle House in South Carolina.

The robbery took place just after 3 a.m. yesterday in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

The trucker told police that he had just finished a meal at the restaurant and was inspecting the back of his truck when he was approached by two men, both armed with guns.

The gunmen demanded all of the money the trucker had. When he complied, they demanded more money and pointed their weapons at his head.

The pair finally fled the scene in a dark-colored Honda, but not before they had taken all of the trucker’s cash, credit cards, personal identification, the keys to his truck, and his personal keys.

Investigators hope that surveillance video from the restaurant will help them track down the gunmen.
