A truck driver was able to escape from a scary situation in Nashville this morning when two would-be robbers jumped on his truck and demanded money.
The robbery attempt occurred on 4th Avenue South in the early morning hours.
The truck driver told police that he was waiting to drop off several safes at a business when two men climbed up on the side of his truck and demanded that he open up the door.
That’s when the quick-witted driver simply drove off, causing the two men to either fall or jump off of the truck.
One person was briefly arrested but then released when the truck driver was unable to make a positive identification.
Police are still searching for the two suspects.
