VIDEO: The Journey Of The Capitol Christmas Tree

Take a look at video and images of the Capitol Christmas Tree on its journey to the White House for the longest journey of 35 year veteran trucker Gary Amoth’s career.

Gary Amoth of Gary Amoth Trucking left to pick the tree up in McCall, Idaho, on October 31. He’ll be taking the 80-foot Engelmann Spruce on a 4,000 mile cross country journey in a red Kenworth T680.

During the 27 stop trip, Amoth and the tree will be accompanied by the Big Idaho Potato Truck.
