The American Transportation Research Institute has released its yearly list ranking the nation’s worst bottlenecks for trucks.
The ATRI’s rankings are based on a “massive database of truck GPS data, a sophisticated IT processing system, and algorithms that quantify the impact of congestion on truck-borne freight.”
America’s Top Ten Worst Bottlenecks For Trucks
1. Atlanta, Georgia: I-285 at I-85 (North)
2. Fort Lee, New Jersey: I-95 at SR 4
3. Chicago, Illinois: I-290 at I-90/I-94
4. Louisville, Kentucky: I-65 at I-64/I-71
5. Cincinnati, Ohio: I-71 at I-75
6. Los Angeles, California: SR 60 at SR 57
7. Auburn, Washington: SR 18 at SR 167
8. Houston, Texas: I-45 at US 59
9. Atlanta, Georgia: I-75 at I-285 (North)
10. Seattle, Washington: I-5 at I-90
