Averitt Express Shows Respect For Regional Drivers By Boosting Pay

Tennessee-based trucking company Averitt Express has announced that they’ll be honoring the hard work of their regional truck drivers with a pay increase.

Averitt Express: When Drivers Win, Everyone Wins

As a company with a driver-first mentality, Averitt Express has decided to show appreciation for their associates by increasing per mile pay for both new and veteran regional drivers. Averitt says that Class A CDL holders with at least four months of experience will now earn between $0.42 and $0.50 per mile, depending on location.

Averitt Express strives to create a company culture that rewards the hard work that their drivers put in day after day. Drivers are treated with dignity — and this is reflected in the fact that the company has over 1000 associates who have chosen to stay with Averitt for more than 20 years (a lifetime in the trucking industry).

Other benefits that regional Class A CDL drivers enjoy with Averitt include up to eight weeks of paid time off, paid training, family and individual Cigna medical coverage, and a minimum mileage pay program.

Earn What You’re Worth

Averitt Express has won numerous awards, including Walmart’s Regional Carrier of the year for five of the last six years. They’ve also been honored as BASF’s Transportation Carrier of the Year for Innovation and Dollar General’s LTL Carrier of the Year.

Since 1971, Averitt Express has been providing its team of drivers with the reliable equipment, in-office support, and family-friendly company culture that they need to succeed. The company has grown from a three truck operation to become one of the most trusted names in the trucking industry. Averitt Express is always looking to add to its group of safe and skilled drivers and would love to take the time to meet you face to face at one of their upcoming career fairs.
