“Big Rig Bounty Hunters” Star Dies From Possible Sleep Apnea-Related Heart Attack

One of the stars from the History Channel reality series “Big Rig Bounty Hunters” has passed away.

Vince Jones died at his home in Delaware, Ohio, early this morning. He was 46 years old. He is survived by a wife and six children.

Jones’s family believes his death is related to a previous sleep apnea diagnosis, according to a report in People Magazine. Jones’s wife said she woke around 4 a.m. to hear him struggling to breathe. Both she and Jones’s 14 year old son attempted to revive the man, but they were unsuccessful.

Jones’s family reported that he did not wear his CPAP machine to bed on Tuesday night. They believe that lack of oxygen from sleep apnea triggered a heart attack.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of death.

Jones was married just last weekend.

“Big Rig Bounty Hunters” premiered in 2013 and featured Jones and fellow bounty hunter Shawn Zimmerman working to locate and retrieve stolen trucks.
