Actor Channing Tatum is traveling the U.S. as he promotes his new NASCAR heist movie “Logan Lucky”. The film depicts the Logan family attempting to turn their fate around as they plan to steal millions from the Charlotte Motor Speedway located in Concord, North Carolina.
To get a sense of scenery Tatum visited Greensboro, North Carolina and made a stop at Mack Trucks Headquarters. NASCAR announced in February of 2016, that Mack Trucks will be the “Official Hauler of NASCAR” for multiple years to come. It seems only fitting that Tatum would be touring North Carolina in a Mack truck as he talks about his new NASCAR heist drama.
The video shows Tatum bantering back and forth with WFMY News 2’s Alma McCarty as they ride along in a Mack truck. Tatum also explains that he stayed with a host family in Kentucky the night before, rather than staying in a formal hotel. Channing describes his stay with them as nothing short of amazing.
Channing and McCarty continue to ask each other questions ranging from movie and book dislikes, to what it was like for Channing to work with co-stars on the set of “Logan Lucky”.
Tatum summarized his time in North Carolina saying, “It’s like you feel you’re kind of from there.”
