When a trucker found himself jackknifed in a snow storm on I-80 and afraid to continue, a CHP officer was there to lend a hand.
The Truckee division of the California Highway Patrol has been making a name for itself on social media for some time for being there for truckers in a pinch.
This time, a CHP officer with a Class A license was on hand to help out a jackknifed driver.
From the Facebook post:
“When you come upon a fully chained and jackknifed big rig, and the driver states he is too scared to drive any further, what do you do?…
You call in a Chippie with a Class A license. With a little help from a patrol vehicle push, the truck is on its way again and the freeway is moving.
Just another day in Truckee.”
