CVSA Releases Updated Out Of Service Criteria

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance has issued an updated out of service criteria handbook to outline changes that will go into effect on April 1, 2017.

Most of the updates are relatively minor. The most significant update to the CVSA out of service criteria is the addition of guidance on how to enforce hours of service regulations after the electronic logging device mandate goes into effect in December of 2017.

The updated handbook is available for purchase in hardcopy form for $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers. You can order a copy here.

You’ll pay the same prices for the electronic version of the handbook. You can obtain a copy by clicking here.
