Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler has just announced the conception of their very own all-electric semi-articulated truck.
This truck has a rage of 220 miles and the ability to haul 11 tons of cargo — just 1.8 tons less than its diesel equivalent, according to Gearbrain.

Revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show, this truck is called E-Fuso Vision One.
This all-electric truck is powered by a 300-kilowatt-hour battery in its top configuration.

It is suspected that the truck will be released first in Europe and Japan based on the truck’s size and range capabilities.
Daimler subsidiary, Mitsubishi Fuso, recently showed off a smaller all-electric truck of its own:
Daimler failed to mention North America during the launch announcement for Vision One.
Daimler claims the charging infrastructure in Europe and Japan should soon be enough to make driving the truck feasible.

This announcement comes just 3 weeks before Tesla is set to reveal their own new electric truck. The Tesla Semi reveal date has been delayed multiple times but it is currently scheduled to happen December 16, 2017.
