At least one person was killed last night in Perryville, Missouri, when a tornado touched down, tossing cars, SUVs, and semis on I-55.

The tornado touched down at 8 p.m. and left one person dead and 10 others injured.
Police have identified 24 year old Travis M. Koenig as the person who lost his life when the tornado blew his car off the road and caused him to be ejected from the vehicle.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says that numerous semis were blown over by the tornado.
The Perry County Sheriff said that many of the cars on I-55 were actually carried there by the tornado from a nearby junkyard.
