A series of three crashes involving five semis has caused serious delays on I-90 in Idaho today.
The crashes began around 8 a.m. this morning.

According to Idaho State Police, two people were trapped inside one of the crashed trucks. The passenger was extracted, but it isn’t clear if the driver has been extracted at this time. A surgeon has been called to the scene.

The westbound lanes of I-90 are blocked near mile marker 34. It is unclear when the lanes will reopen. The crash has caused serious delays.
Police are still investigating the crash.
